Washington, DC, and Berkeley—August 2, 2023: Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held a rally outside the US Department of State to call for protection of Ashraf3 residents in accordance with 1951 Geneva Convention and applicable European Human Rights regulations. Also on August 2, in Berkeley, California, MEK supporters held same rally and demanding Ashraf-3 protection be secured by the USA.
In addition, Iranian-American communities in Washington, DC, and Berkeley expressed their solidarity with the Iran Revolution.
The Iranian community in Washington, DC, and Berkeley emphasized the Iranian people seeking a democratic republic and rejecting any kind of dictatorship, be it the mullahs or a return to that of Shah’s regime.
In addition, the Iranian Resistance supporters in Washington, DC, and Berkeley urged the international community to support the Iran Revolution and take a firm stance against the oppressive regime of the mullahs.
