Washington, DC and California—September 30, 2023: MEK Supporters Rally in Commemoration of the Martyrs of Zahedan Bloody Friday

Washington, DC—September 30, 2023: Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held a rally in front of the White House in commemoration of the martyrs of Zahedan Bloody Friday. They also expressed solidarity with the Iran Revolution.

Berkeley, California – September 30, 2023: Also, the Iranian American community held a rally in Berkeley, California on September 30 in support of the protests of the people of Baluchestan on the anniversary of the Bloody Friday of Zahedan, and expressed their solidarity with the Baluch people and supported the nationwide uprising of the Iranian people.

MEK supporters in Washington, DC and Berkeley (California) demanded the trial of the mullahs’ regime leaders, especially Ali Khamenei (Supreme leader of the mullahs’ regime) and the mass murderer Ebrahim Raisi for crimes against humanity, in an international court.

The Iranian community in Washington, DC and Berkeley (California) emphasized the Iranian people seeking a democratic republic and rejecting any kind of dictatorship, be it the mullahs or a return to that of Shah’s regime.

In addition, the Iranian Resistance supporters in Washington, DC and Berkeley (California) urged the international community to support the Iran Revolution and take a firm stance against the oppressive regime of the mullahs.

They asked the international community to recognize the right of self-defense for the Iranian people against the religious dictatorship.

It is worth to mention that the Iranian nationwide protests in 2022 expanded to at least 282 cities. Over 750 people have been killed and more than 30,000 arrested by the regime’s forces, according to sources of Iranian opposition People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK). The names of 675 killed protesters have been published by the MEK.
