I am pleased to give encouragement to the proud and brave Iranians who not only work for and equal rights of all people but willing to work towards a peaceful way. The people of Iran deserve free and fair elections. They deserve the right to practice their religion without fear and they deserve the chance to build their lives on the stability provided by the government which works for good of all.

Greetings to all of you

I am Dr. Omar Abdulsattar, a former parliamentarian and an advisor to the Studies and Research Centre in new Iraq.

I would like to convey my salutation again to the people of Iran who have risen against the Velayat-e faqih since 180 days ago. They overthrew the Shah’s regime 40 years ago and now, they are preparing to overthrow another ‘King’ who hijacked their revolution.

I also greet the straggle and persistence of the Iranian Resistance, which is crystallized in the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK). To them for their steadfastness and because did not get disappointed and did not give up over the last 40 years. I salute them and their supporters in their annual congress on June 30 in Paris.

I call on the God Almighty to bless the struggle of the Iranian people and their popular resistance for freedom so that they can celebrate  Iranian resistance’s rally in  Azadi Square in Tehran, next year.

I congratulate the Iranian people on a new year without Velayat-e faqih.
