The Alternative Democratic of the National Council of Resistance of Iran; nightmare of the Iranian clerical regime
The Iranian regime has ruled over the people in a 40-year period with an iron fist. During all these years, the mullahs have tussled with a variety of strange practices and conspiracies to pretend there is no alternative insight to it.
Without any prejudices, what is the real answer to the question over the practical likely alternative to the clerical regime In Iran?
Unfortunately, the West has justified the policy of appeasement with this rough regime, for commercial interests under various hollow pretexts, like critical dialogue or creating an environment of consternation about the regime’s nuclear and terrorist might. In this way the West provided the fascist regime with immense concessions, embolden the Mullahs to interfere in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, and supporting Taliban, al-Qaeda, and Hezbollah, therefore flaring wars and bloodshed in the region. By the means of the appeasement policy, Iran regime has enjoyed the free hand to violate human rights and to commit terrorist activities, and in return, the West gained profound financial incomes.
Moreover, the Iranian regime attempts to convince the public opinion that there is no alternative to it, and the international community has no option except to deal with this regime and tolerate its devastating roles. The regime supports this goal by offering tempting financial concessions or terrorist threats.
But it has been proven over the past years that reconciliation policies have been inadequate to restrain the mullahs’ medieval regime. Should this policy had an appropriate response, the US policymakers, because of their long record of taking part in this policy, could have been seen standing in the front of the column before the other governments.
One of the most significant achievements of the uprising of the last January in more than 142 cities in Iran, which, despite brutal crackdown was continued in different ways, like the strikes of truckers which as one of the regime’s MP stated covered about 500.000 people in more than 254 cities, was emerging the answer to the crucial question about the main threat and the alternative to the regime.
The answer can continually be heard of the regime’s officials in all ranks, from the supreme leader to the Friday Prayer Imams, and other figures who daily emphasize and complain of the role of the National Council of Resistance of Iran and the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) in conducting protests and expressing the fear of being overthrown.
At present, the realities that have long been persisted by the Iranian resistance about the pillars of the fundamentalist Iran regime which are founded on domestic suppression and exporting backwardness and crises abroad, have been attested. For those who have a realistic comprehension of the developments in Iran and the region, it has become crystal clear that this regime cannot survive without these pillars, so they lean towards a shift in policy regarding the ‘greatest state sponsor of terrorism in the world’, which is an offset of an era of changing in Iran and the Middle East.
The Iranian people demand the change to a free and democratic society. They expressed their desire for freedom 40 years ago during the anti-monarchy revolution. They continued their unrelenting struggle with more than 120,000 martyrs and thousands of political prisoners seeking democracy and freedom as their most basic demands, the cases which are crystallized in the program of the NCRI.
The Democratic Alternative of the National Council Resistance of Iran under the leadership of Mrs. Maryam Rajavi has devoted all its efforts to regime change in Iran. This alternative represents all the people of Iran and enjoys a broad support by the Iranians, but the Iranian regime attempts to show an inverse image of the realities in Iran by demonizing the Iranian democratic alternative. Of course, after 40 years the truth has been revealed for those who want to understand it.
The winds of change have started blowing in Iran. Continuous demonstrations and strikes in Iran are scattered showers which have the message of a flash flood which will eradicate the clerical dictatorship in Iran. This is the reality of Iran. Let’s believe in it!
