Iran protesters to be the main target audience for NCRI June rally
During this year’s annual gathering on June 30, The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) plans on targeting its receiving audience inside Iran including protesters and resistance network inside the county. That is in addition to the large number of expatriates that assemble in this gathering every year in Paris.
Therefore, one should consider those who come to Paris for the rally to play the role of envoys and representatives of the uprising participants in the country.
The rally this year will convey the message that the Iranian resistance and the MEK now have only one objective at hand and that is to support and promote the uprising to eventually overthrow the mullahs’ regime.
This year’s organizers are planning the whole event on June 30 around the uprising. The NCRI June rally is meant to be a part and continuation of the uprising and will send the message of “regime change” to Iran and the whole world.
Iranian youth and decedents, organized in the resistance network inside Iran, are engaged in setting up the uprisings in factories and other places. They, themselves, confirm that the coming Grand Gathering will act as a boost in their work echoing their activities and their voice worldwide.

It is important to mention that the Iranian resistance aims to positively encourage foreign policy makers throughout the world, via diplomatic means as well as activities such as the annual Iranian Grand Gathering, to make way and gather support for the uprising of the Iranian people.
Oddly, over the past four decades, all previous US administrations have in one way or the other adapted a policy to appease the clerical regime with the Mullahs taking great advantages of the policy.
“The Iranian resistance leader on many occasions, has repeatedly emphasized that over the past 200 years, at the time of modern diplomacy, since the time Iran had diplomatic relations with Napoleon, none of the regimes ruling Iran practically exploited the West as much as the Mullahs regime has done,” said the Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee of National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), Mr. Mohammad Mohaddessin in an interview with Simay-e Azadi, the opposition’s TV channel.
“In spite of a high anti-Western rhetoric from the side of the Mullahs, this regime has benefited the most from the West,” added Mr. Mohaddessin.
“During the past 20 years, the West has helped the clerical regime by including the Mojahedin in the terror list and by bombarding them during Iraqi war, and by remaining silent when Mojahedin were murdered by the Iraqi government,” continued the NCRI foreign affairs chief.
“The West has also given the Mullahs’ regime free hand by opening the doors of Iraq and Syria to them and by keeping quite when the regime continued meddling in the region and in facing its brutal human rights abuses,” stressed Mr. Mohaddessin.
Holding this year’s gathering will aim to send the message of Iranian oppressed people to the international community, demanding not to compromise with this regime. Shaking the hands of mullahs’ regime officials, will only embolden the mullahs to continue crackdown on the uprising and delay its downfall.
If there had not been the appeasement policy, this regime certainly would not have been in the current condition, and the balance of power between Iranian people and the regime would have been totally different, in favor of the people.
The Iranian resistance movement aims to reap the benefits of its activities to help the uprising. That includes activities such as the Grand Gathering or the revealing of the regime’s clandestine nuclear plans and also violations of human rights. These activities will help change the balance of power against the regime and expose the appeasement policy and therefore, stop the regime from gaining more leverage.
The Iranian people and their organized resistance do not expect the West to overthrow the clerical regime for them. Their sole demand is for the West to step aside and stop undermining their efforts for regime change.
What the Iranian community of expatriates are looking for at the Grand Gathering for a Free Iran, on June 30, 2018, in Paris, is to pave the path for developing the uprising in Iran by sending the message of solidarity with the resistance network inside the country, and calling on the international community to remove all the obstacles in the path of ‘regime change’ in Iran.
