The Iranian regime pinpoints its true alternative
On June 30, 2018, at the Iranian Grand Gathering in Paris, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi stated:
“Since the January uprising, the signs of change in Iran and the regime’s overthrow have appeared. The prospects for the victory of Iran’s democratic revolution, devoid of the mullahs and the Shah are looming. Through their uprisings and by relying on resistance units, the Iranian people have the leverage they need to topple this regime.”
After the apparatus of creating and assembling phony alternatives at the policy market ended in failure, the Iran regime’s officials and political analysts, admitted that the only probable and real alternative to the regime is the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) and its core organization, the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK).
A state-run websites, called Baharestaneh, posted an article, titled “The art of identifying the enemy “.
While highlighting the role of the MEK as the sole force capable of overthrowing the regime, the author appraises out-and-out repression, and as well as creating a state of terror that relies on the anti-popular Basij paramilitary forces, as the unique solution to confront this alternative, the Iranian people’s resistance, and the resistance units.
The article reads:
The MEK’s embattlement at the month of Muharram must be revealed to the public. The MEK must be introduced as the arch-enemy of the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic Republic of Iran, and proper preparations must be taken into consideration to tackle them.
We need to ask whether we have identified and introduced the main enemy of the establishment and the existence of the Islamic Republic or not? Are Israel, America or Europe our main threat? Of course they are the enemy, but can the United States overthrow the Islamic Republic? How about Israel? This is not definitely the case, so the realism dictates that at the first step, we determine that our main enemy is not external but internal.
For the domestic enemies to be counted as threat, they must have two criteria; firstly their longing to overthrow the establishment secondly, the capability to fulfill this demand.
Now who fulfills both criteria the longing and having the practical ability to fulfill this wish? Here, all the fingers, unanimously, point at the MEK. This is the fact that has been mentioned by the Supreme Leader repeatedly.
On the month of Muharram, the enemy has deployed its resistance units, and we too need to deploy all-out to protect the revolution. Having this understanding, the Basij’s war games in this month, are essential and preventive actions in the right timing.
