Iran Protests Round-Up—Day 22 - October 7, 2022

October 7, 2022: Friday, October 7, marked the 22nd consecutive day of nationwide protests against the Iranian regime. Iran’s protests have up to now expanded to 172 cities and all 31 provinces across the country. According to reports gathered by the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), the regime has so far killed 400 civilians and arrested 20,000 others.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the president-elect of the NCRI sent a message on the Iran protests and said: “Millions of Iranians carry on the torch as Iran protests enter the 4th week, & after hundreds of brave teenagers and youths, including Hannaneh Kia, Nika Shakarmi, and Zakaria Khial laid down their lives for freedom.”

Mrs Rajavi added: “The clerical regime will not benefit from ruthless killings, since they only add to the Iranian people’s will to continue the uprising until they achieve freedom. The cowardly schemes to cover up their crimes, as in the case of Nika Shakarami, only fuel people’s anger.”
