Dedication to the Iranian People’s Fight for Liberty

We remember Professor Rajavi for his unwavering dedication to the Iranian people’s fight for liberty. We are eternally grateful for his relentless efforts to save his brother Massoud from execution at the hands of the Shah’s secret police. His story is a testament to the power of love and determination in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds. Professor Rajavi single-handedly rallied the world against the Shah’s decree, ultimately achieving his goal.

Humble and Empathetic Leader

Despite his impressive academic background and history of activism, Professor Rajavi remained a humble man. His decency, sincerity, and warmth drew people to him. He possessed a deep well of empathy, evident in his emotional connection with friends, associates, and even those who had suffered under the regime.

Tireless Advocate for Human Rights

Professor Rajavi was deeply affected by the plight of torture victims. Film and photos depict him tirelessly advocating for them – introducing survivors, sharing images of martyrs, and relentlessly pursuing accountability in the halls of the United Nations. He was a tireless advocate, determined to expose the regime’s human rights abuses.

Legacy and Sacrifice

Professor Rajavi’s relentless efforts culminated in the first resolution condemning the Iranian regime at the UN Human Rights Commission. Tragically, his success triggered a deadly response, and the next day, Khomeini himself ordered his assassination. Professor Rajavi embodied the spirit of his words: “We write the history of human rights with our blood.” His legacy belongs not just to his family, but to the entire Iranian nation. He is a source of honor and pride for all Iranians.
