Orjola Pampuri, Albanian MP, addressed at the 2nd Day of The Free Iran World Summit on July 11, 2021.

Dear participants, I’m honored to be part of this gathering. I want to congratulate the PMOI and the Iranian resistance for organizing such a large and important event to address the need for regime change and establishing democracy in Iran.

It is our personal experience in Albania that dictators are not forever. In Iran, too, we are happy to see that the wind of change for freedom is blowing.

The activities of the PMOI calling for the regime’s overthrow is gaining ground. We are halfway through 2021. It has been a year marred by pivotal changes in Iran.

We are aware that as long as there is a supreme leader and clergy jurisprudence who’s only empowered because of repression at home and advocating terrorism abroad, the world will not see a free Iran, an Iran that is respecting the rest of the world.

This regime advocating terrorism and repression is danger to the whole world. We therefore are united in the Albanian parliament to support your goal and the force to bring freedom and democracy to Iran under great leadership of Madame Rajavi. And we will not stop doing it. We want a free Iran. Thank you.
