Anti-regime protests continued across Iran’s Khuzestan province on Wednesday, May 11, 2022. Protests were triggered by skyrocketing prices of basic goods in the past few weeks.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the president-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran(NCRI) said:
“Despite the brutal crackdown, the people of Khuzestan launched protests against high prices. They chanted death to Raisi, under whom the cost of bread rose in practice. The prices of other food items have been raised officially, while most people live under the poverty line”.
Tens of millions of Iranians are unemployed, poor, and hungry. In contrast, the mullahs, criminal guards, and corrupt families live luxurious lives. The restless youths of #Iran are more determined than ever to overthrow religious fascism and establish freedom and justice.
