Iran protests, November 9, 2022: On September 30, regime security forces in Zahedan opened fire on a peaceful rally of unarmed civilians.
More than 100 people were killed in the massacre, including several children.
The massacre became known as Zahedan’s “Bloody Friday” (جمعه خونین زاهدان) and drew international condemnation.
On November 9, students held protest rallies to mark the 40th day of Zahedan’s Bloody Friday.
