On Friday, January 12, 2024, in Zahedan, the capital of Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan province, defiant youth raised placards and banners to express their opposition and protest against the dictatorial regime of the mullahs. In these messages, they also conveyed their disapproval of any form of dictatorship, whether it be royal or religious, imposed by the mullahs.
The Baloch youth’s clear stance against dictatorship, their refusal to submit to it, and their unity and solidarity with people in other parts of Iran facing tyranny and oppression underscore the resilient spirit of the people of Zahedan and Baluchistan. Their collective efforts and struggle aim to overthrow the mullahs’ regime and establish freedom and justice, not only in Baluchestan but throughout Iran. Equality is a fundamental aspiration for the people of Baluchestan and for all Iranians.
Below are some of these slogans and placards and their images:
Zahedan cry: Neither monarchy nor mullahs’ rule! sacrifice my life for freedom.
Baloch people are standing in front of Shah and Mullahs until the end.
The slogan of every Baloch: “Death to the tyrant, be it the Shah or the Mullahs!”
Our words: Our field is Iran, the head of the snake is Tehran!
Our Cry in Baluchestan: In front of the Shah and the Mullahs, Don’t Obey!
Baluchestan is awake, the head of the snake is in Tehran!
The slogan of the people of Baluchestan: No monarchy, no mullahs’ rule! justice, and equality!
From Zahedan to Tehran, “Death to the tyrant, be it the Shah or the Mullahs!”
Heroic Zahedan will never bow down to the Shah and Mullahs!
