Iranian Protesters Chant Anti-Regime Slogans on 1979 Revolution Anniversary

Iran, February 9, 2025: According to reports, residents of Tehran chanted slogans such as “Down with Khamenei,” “Damned be Khomeini,” “Death to the absolute rule of clergy”, and “Death to the Dictator” in various parts of the capital on the occasion of the anniversary of the Iranian people’s revolution against the Shah on February 11, 1979.

These reports indicate that people in areas such as Ekbatan, Tehran Pars, Shahr Ziba, Jannat Abad, and several other locations took advantage of the cover of night to raise slogans like “Down with Khamenei,” “Damned be Khomeini,” and “Death to the Dictator.”
