
Martyrs Identified in Uprising
The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) released names of eight martyrs killed by Revolutionary Guards and suppressive forces on December 31, 2025, and January 1, 2026, in Fuladshahr, Kuhdasht, Lordegan, Azna, and Marvdasht. One martyr, Mostafa, 15, was from Azna in Lorestan. The full list includes Dariush Ansari Bakhtiarvand, 37, from Fuladshahr; Amirhossein Khodayarifard, 26, from Kuhdasht; Sajjad Valamanesh Zilaei, 28, and Ahmad Jalil, 21, from Lordegan; Shayan Asadollahi, 30, and Vahab Ghaedi (Mousavi) from Azna; and Khodadad Shirvani from Marvdasht.

Protests Spread to Tehran Districts
Protests expanded to several Tehran districts including Nemat Abad, Shahr-e Rey, and Eslamshahr on Day 6 of the uprising. Demonstrations involved anti-regime chants and clashes with security forces. Funerals of martyrs fueled further unrest across the capital.
Clashes During Funerals in Provinces
Funerals in provinces turned into anti-regime protests, sparking clashes in Kuhdasht, Lordegan, Marvdasht, and other cities. In Kuhdasht, the funeral of Amirhossein Khodayarifard became a major protest site with crowds chanting against the regime. Similar unrest occurred in Azna and Lordegan amid burials.
Demonstrations and Attacks in Key Cities
Demonstrations and clashes erupted in Tehran, Marvdasht, Qom, Yasuj, Zahedan, Nurabad, and elsewhere. In Marvdasht, protesters attacked a police station. Reports noted ongoing activities from Tehran’s Grand Bazaar to provincial hotspots. Political prisoners sent messages of support to the uprising.
