
On January 7, 2026, theeleventh day of Iran’s nationwide uprising, bazaar strikes paralyzed Tehran, Shiraz, Kermanshah, and over 20 cities while protesters forced security retreats. Rebellious youths built barricades, chanted against Khamenei, and clashed amid live fire and tear gas. Regime imposed internet throttling and warned of weapon use against crowds.
Energy Strikes and Bazaar Shutdowns
South Pars refinery workers joined the nationwide strikes, hitting regime’s economic core alongside bazaar closures. Tehran’s Bein-ol-Haramein, Kaffashha, Gold/Jewelry Bazaar, Pachenar, Hammamchal, Chahardangeh, Salehabad, Yaftabad, Shemiran Now fully shut with chants of “Iranians die but never accept humiliation.” 15 Khordad metro closed; strikes hit Bojnourd, Tabriz, Shahr-e Kord, Lordegan, Sabzevar, Ahvaz, Isfahan, Kerman, Kermanshah, Shiraz, Bandar Abbas, Qazvin, Rasht and more.
Clashes and Force Retreats
Massive crowds in Bojnurd forced security to rooftops; in Qazvin, protesters pushed back units on Khayyam Street. In Kermanshah’s Ojagh Intersection, Modarres Street, Nobahar, and Chaharrah Ojagh, crowds chanted “Unity, unity” despite tear gas and live fire; Azad University students shouted “The student dies but accepts no humiliation.”
Shiraz youths used dump trucks for stone barricades against water cannons on Amir Kabir Boulevard and Qashqai areas, chanting “This is the year of blood, Khamenei will be overthrown.” In Lordegan, live fire critically wounded a protester; Karaj’s Hesarak Bazaar heard gunfire.
Youth Resistance Tactics
Youths blocked reinforcements with burning tires, trash bins, and Molotovs in Tehran (Delavaran Blvd., Helal Ahmar), Tabriz (Ghayour Street), Ahvaz (Saheli), Isfahan, Mashhad (Aghdasieh Basij, Salman Farsi station disarmed Jan 6). Chants included “Death to the oppressor, be it Shah or Leader”; Tehran areas like Nezamabad, Haft-howz, Tehranspars repelled attacks.
Student and Prisoner Solidarity
Qom female students chanted “Students may die, but they will never live in humiliation”; Zanjan and Kermanshah students declared “This year is the year of blood — Khamenei will fall.” Evin women sang anthem, shouting “Political prisoners must be freed,” “Woman, Resistance, Freedom,” “Freedom comes with ‘we can and we must’.” Ghezel Hesar men vowed “We stand until the end,” “Execution republic must be overthrown.”
Regime Measures and Rajavi Message
Internet slowed nationwide, VPNs/Telegram throttled in Tehran (Sadeghieh, Haft-e Tir), Fars, Alborz, Kermanshah, Ilam, Lorestan. Governor Motamedian authorized police weapons against “rioters.” Maryam Rajavi saluted Tehran, Kermanshah, Ahvaz, Ilam, Shiraz, Fasa, Isfahan, Shahrekord, Qazvin, Kerman protesters: “Every bullet ignites revolt flames.”
Salute to the courageous people of Kermanshah, Ahvaz, Ilam, Shiraz, Fasa, Isfahan, Shahrekord, Qazvin, Kerman, and many other cities who, alongside Tehran, took to the streets today on the eleventh day of the nationwide uprising, chanting “Death to Khamenei.”
