European Parliament Pushes IRGC Blacklist
In response to escalating repression, the European Parliament adopted a strong resolution condemning Iran’s violent crackdown on demonstrators and called for the designation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization. The resolution passed overwhelmingly with a significant majority, underscoring European lawmakers’ concern over human rights abuses and state violence. In parallel, the Parliament stressed the need to condition all future relations with Iran on genuine progress in human rights and democratic freedoms.
