On February 24, student-led protests across Iranian universities entered their fourth consecutive day, reflecting deepening unrest against the regime. Beginning in Tehran, Mashhad, and Isfahan, the demonstrations have rapidly spread nationwide, involving students from multiple academic institutions.

On the second day, protests maintained their momentum despite heavy security presence. Students rallied in campuses across the country, chanting slogans demanding regime change and calling for accountability from the ruling clerics. Authorities attempted to suppress the movement using intimidation, arrests, and force, yet students remained defiant.

By the third day, chants of “Death to Khamenei” and “Death to the Dictator” echoed across university halls, symbolizing the intensity and determination of the youth-led uprising. Students also raised banners supporting the opposition and expressing solidarity with nationwide protests, signaling a broader political challenge to the theocratic regime.

On the fourth day, confrontations between students and security forces intensified. Universities in Tehran, Mashhad, and Isfahan became focal points of unrest, with students facing down heavily armed state forces while continuing to demand their rights.

Videos from the protests, including the one available here, show large crowds of students chanting slogans and holding peaceful demonstrations despite the risks of violent retaliation.

The protests represent a growing wave of dissent, fueled by frustrations over political repression, economic hardship, and lack of freedoms. Student activists have emphasized that their mobilization is part of a broader struggle for overthrow of the mullahs’ regime, resonating with wider movements across Iran.
