The name of the association, “1000 Women”, is taken from the women who are the vanguards of the fight against fundamentalism and violence in their activities, sacrifices, and resilience. They deeply believe that we can overcome the phenomenon of fundamentalism and throw this menace to humanity into the dust bin of history.
The 1000 Women Association was registered in May 2015, as a non-profit association and began its activities right away.
