Paris—December 9, 2023: MEK Supporters Rally in Solidarity With the Iran Revolution on the Occasion of Human Rights Day

Paris, France—December 9, 2023: Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) organized a rally on the occasion of Human Rights Day in Place de la Bastille to support the Iranian Revolution. Additionally, they condemned the wave of brutal executions in Iran.

The Iranian community in Paris also expressed their protest against the presence of Ebrahim Raisi, the president of the mullahs’ regime, who is one of the main perpetrators behind the massacre of 30,000 Iranian political prisoners in 1988, at the Global Refugee Forum on December 13 in Geneva. Iranians stated that Raisi’s presence is an insult to human rights, the sacred right of asylum, and a stain on the United Nations.

MEK supporters in Paris demanded the trial of the mullahs’ regime leaders, especially Ali Khamenei  (Supreme leader of the mullahs’ regime) and the mass murderer Ebrahim Raisi for crimes against humanity, in an international court.

The Iranian community in Paris emphasized the Iranian people seeking a democratic republic and rejecting any kind of dictatorship, be it the mullahs or a return to that of Shah’s regime.

In addition, the Iranian Resistance supporters in Paris urged the international community to support the Iran Revolution and take a firm stance against the oppressive regime of the mullahs.

They asked the international community to recognize the right of self-defense of the Iranian people against the religious dictatorship.

Iranian community in Paris demanded the designation of Iran’s regime IRGC as a terrorist organization by the French government, due to its terrorist and warmongering activities and the crimes and repression against Iranian people and protesters.
