Ottawa, Canada—May 27, 2024: Iranian-Canadian communities, and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held a rally in a rainy weather and urge Canadian Government to implement the House unanimous motion to Blacklist IRGC. Freedom-loving Iranians also express their solidarity with the Iranian Revolution.

At the same time as this gathering, Mr. Struan Stevenson, a former MEP, joined Ms. Judy Sgro, a Canadian MP, and the families of the victims of the 1988 massacre by Ebrahim Raisi, who was a key member of the “Death Commission” in Tehran.

They urged the Canadian government to implement the House’s unanimous motion to designate the IRGC as a terrorist organization.

Mr. Stevenson attended the gathering of Iranian demonstrators and gave a speech to them and supported their demands.

Mr. Stevenson also answered the question of Simay Azadi tv, about his purpose of participating in the demonstrations of Iranian supporters of the Iranian resistance in Canada.

MEK supporters in Ottawa demanded the trial of the mullahs’ regime leaders for crimes against humanity, in an international court.

The Iranian community in Ottawa emphasized the Iranian people seeking a democratic republic and rejecting any kind of dictatorship, be it the mullahs or a return to that of Shah’s regime.

They asked the international community to recognize the right of self-defense of the Iranian people against the religious dictatorship.

In addition, the Iranian Resistance supporters in Ottawa urged the international community to support the Iranian Revolution and take a firm stance against the oppressive regime of the mullahs.
