Oslo, Norway—April 29, 2024: Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) organized a rally in front of the Norwegian parliament to protest the increasing wave of executions by the Iranian regime. They also expressed solidarity with the Iranian Revolution.
The Iranian community in Oslo called for the absurd death sentence imposed on the imprisoned artist Toomaj Salehi to be unequivocally annulled, free from clerical regime machinations. They supported the Iranian Resistance’s call to save the lives of political prisoners sentenced to death and on the brink of execution.
The demonstrators condemned the warmongering and terrorism of the mullahs’ regime and called for the designation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization.
MEK supporters in Oslo demanded the trial of the mullahs’ regime leaders, especially Ali Khamenei (Supreme leader of the mullahs’ regime) and the mass murderer Ebrahim Raisi for crimes against humanity, in an international court.
The Iranian community in Oslo emphasized the Iranian people seeking a democratic republic and rejecting any kind of dictatorship, be it the mullahs or a return to that of Shah’s regime.
Iranians also demanded the expulsion of all the mercenaries of the Ministry of Intelligence and Espionage of the Iranian regime (MOIS) from European soil.
In addition, the Iranian Resistance supporters in Oslo urged the international community to support the Iranian Revolution and take a firm stance against the oppressive regime of the mullahs.
They asked the international community to recognize the right of self-defense of the Iranian people against the religious dictatorship.
