Gothenburg, Sweden—June 1, 2024: Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) organized a rally to express solidarity with the Iranian Revolution, while also protesting against the increasing wave of executions by the Iranian regime.
The members of Iranian community in Gothenburg invited all freedom-loving Iranians to participate in the great gathering of Free Iran on June 29, 2024 in Berlin.
MEK supporters in Gothenburg demanded the trial of the mullahs’ regime leaders for crimes against humanity, in an international court.
The Iranian community in Gothenburg emphasized the Iranian people seeking a democratic republic and rejecting any kind of dictatorship, be it the mullahs or a return to that of Shah’s regime.
The demonstrators condemned the warmongering and terrorism of the mullahs’ regime and called for the designation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization.
Iranians also demanded the expulsion of all the mercenaries of the Ministry of Intelligence and Espionage of the Iranian regime (MOIS) from European soil.
In addition, the Iranian Resistance supporters in Gothenburg urged the international community to support the Iranian Revolution and take a firm stance against the oppressive regime of the mullahs.
They asked the international community to recognize the right of self-defense of the Iranian people against the religious dictatorship.
