Oslo—June 15, 2024: MEK Supporters Rally, Condemning the Appeasement Policy With the Mullahs: Call for Participation in the #BerlinDemo29June

Oslo, Norway—June 15, 2024: Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) organized a rally in solidarity with the Iranian Revolution. They also protested against the appeasement policy towards the mullahs’ regime and the recent shameful deal between Sweden and the mullahs’ regime, which resulted in the release of Hamid Noury.

Noury was sentenced to life imprisonment by a Stockholm court for his participation in the 1988 Massacre of political prisoners in Iran. His appeal was denied, reaffirming his conviction for these crimes.

The members of Iranian community in Oslo endorsed Maryam Rajavi’s ten-point plan for Iran’s future and invited all freedom-loving Iranians to participate in the great gathering of Free Iran on June 29, 2024, in Berlin.

MEK supporters in Oslo demanded the trial of the mullahs’ regime leaders for crimes against humanity, in an international court.

Iranians demanded the immediate release of all political prisoners from the prisons of the mullahs’ regime in Iran. They also condemned the brutal repression of Iranian women under the pretext of hijab and supported the resistance of Iranian women against the oppression of the regime with the slogan of women, resistance, freedom.

The Iranian community in Oslo emphasized the Iranian people seeking a democratic republic and rejecting any kind of dictatorship, be it the mullahs or a return to that of Shah’s regime.

The organizers of the rally in Copenhagen also demanded that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) be designated as a terrorist organization by the European Union.

In addition, Iranian Resistance supporters in Oslo urged the international community to support the Iranian Revolution, take a firm stance against the oppressive regime of the mullahs, and recognize the right of self-defense for the Iranian people against the religious dictatorship.
