Copenhagen, August 24, 2024: MEK Supporters Hold Exhibition to Commemorate the Victims of the 1988 Massacre in Iran

On the eve of the 36th anniversary of the 1988 massacre, freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) in Copenhagen, Denmark, organized a photo exhibition on August 24, 2024, to honor the memory of 30,000 political prisoners who were executed in prisons across Iran by the mullahs’ regime.

In this exhibition, images depicting the horrific human rights violations in Iran under the rule of the terrorist religious dictatorship were displayed. The exhibition included photos of political prisoners in Iran, detained protesters, and political prisoners who have been executed by the mullahs’ regime, as well as those who have been sentenced to death.

They also protested against the increasing wave of executions carried out by the Iranian regime and expressed solidarity with the Iranian Revolution. MEK supporters in Copenhagen demanded that the leaders of the mullahs’ regime be tried in an international court for crimes against humanity.

Additionally, the Iranian Resistance supporters in Copenhagen urged the international community to support the Iranian Revolution and take a firm stance against the oppressive regime of the mullahs. They called on the international community to recognize the Iranian people’s right to self-defense against the religious dictatorship.

The exhibition was visited by Danish citizens, who expressed their solidarity with the Iranian people in their struggle for freedom and signed a petition condemning the crimes of the Iranian regime.
