For a long time, Paris has been the venue for a series of exhibitions organized by supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK). These events, held in various locations across the city, have been aimed at showing solidarity with the Iranian Revolution and protesting against the increasing wave of executions in Iran.
Objectives of the Exhibition Series
Throughout the series of exhibitions held in recent months, the organizers have consistently pursued several key objectives:
1. Solidarity with the Iranian Revolution: A primary goal of these exhibitions has been to demonstrate unwavering support for the ongoing Iranian Revolution. The events have served as a platform for freedom-loving Iranians and MEK supporters to express their solidarity with those fighting for change in Iran.
2. Protest Against Executions: The organizers have used these exhibitions to voice their strong opposition to the increasing wave of executions carried out by the Iranian regime. By highlighting this issue, they aim to draw international attention to the human rights abuses occurring in Iran.
3. Raising Awareness: Through visual displays and informational materials, the exhibitions have sought to educate the public about the current situation in Iran, the goals of the revolution, and the vision for a free and democratic Iran.
4. Promoting Maryam Rajavi’s Ten-Point Plan: The events have provided a platform to promote and endorse Maryam Rajavi‘s ten-point plan for Iran’s future, which outlines a vision for a democratic, secular, and non-nuclear Iran.
5. Mobilizing Support: By organizing these exhibitions in a prominent city like Paris, the MEK supporters aim to mobilize both local and international support for their cause. They have used these events to call on the international community to stand with the Iranian people in their struggle for freedom.
6. Commemorating Significant Dates: Some of the exhibitions have been timed to coincide with important dates in the Iranian resistance movement, serving as a reminder of key events and sacrifices made in the pursuit of freedom in Iran.
7. Networking and Community Building: These exhibitions have provided an opportunity for members of the Iranian diaspora and supporters of the MEK to come together, share experiences, and strengthen their community ties.
8. Calling for International Action: Through these events, organizers have consistently called on Western governments and international organizations to take concrete actions in support of the Iranian people and against the current regime in Iran.
By consistently pursuing these objectives throughout their series of exhibitions, MEK supporters in Paris have created a sustained campaign to keep the spotlight on the situation in Iran and to garner support for their vision of a free and democratic future for the country.
