Copenhagen, Denmark—August 2, 2024: Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) organized a rally and exhibition to express solidarity with the Iranian Revolution. They also protested against the increasing wave of executions carried out by the Iranian regime.
On the eve of the 36th anniversary of the 1988 massacre, supporters of the Iranian resistance in Copenhagen honored the memory of 30,000 political prisoners who were executed in prisons across Iran by the mullahs’ regime.
MEK supporters in Copenhagen demanded the trial of the mullahs’ regime leaders for crimes against humanity, in an international court.
The Iranian community in Copenhagen emphasized the Iranian people seeking a democratic republic and rejecting any kind of dictatorship, be it the mullahs or a return to that of Shah’s regime.
Iranians also demanded the expulsion of all the mercenaries of the Ministry of Intelligence and Espionage of the Iranian regime (MOIS) from European soil.
In addition, the Iranian Resistance supporters in Copenhagen urged the international community to support the Iranian Revolution and take a firm stance against the oppressive regime of the mullahs.
They asked the international community to recognize the right of self-defense of the Iranian people against the religious dictatorship.
