Portsmouth—August 2, 2024: Freedom-loving Iranians and academics living in England, supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), organized a book exhibition and petition collection. The exhibition highlighted the martyrs of the Iranian Revolution, the 1988 massacre, and the execution of Iranian athletes by the Mullahs’ regime. The event was warmly received by both citizens and young Iranians.
In addition to commemorating these martyrs, the exhibition aimed to protest the escalating wave of executions in Iran and to emphasize the oppressive rule of the mullahs’ regime. The Iranian community in Portsmouth demanded that the leaders of the mullahs’ regime be tried for crimes against humanity in an international court.
