Stockholm, Sweden—August 24, 2024: Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held a rally in front of the Swedish Parliament to protest the rising wave of executions carried out by the Iranian regime. They also called for the immediate release of all political prisoners held in the prisons of the mullahs’ regime in Iran and expressed their solidarity with the Iranian Revolution.

On the eve of the 36th anniversary of the 1988 massacre, supporters of the Iranian resistance in Stockholm continue to honor the martyrs of the massacre of political prisoners across various Iranian cities. They express their support for the movement justice-seeking for the victims.

MEK supporters in Stockholm demanded the trial of the mullahs’ regime leaders for crimes against humanity, in an international court.

Freedom-loving Iranians in Stockholm emphasized the Iranian people’s desire for a democratic republic and rejection of any kind of dictatorship, whether it be the mullahs’ regime or a return to the Shah’s regime.

In addition, they asked the international community to recognize the right of self-defense of the Iranian people against the religious dictatorship and expressed their full support of the MEK Resistance Units inside Iran.
