Oslo, Norway—September 28, 2024: Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held a rally protesting the Iranian regime’s rising wave of executions. They also demanded the immediate release of all political prisoners held by the mullahs’ regime and expressed solidarity with the PMOI/MEK.
Freedom-loving Iranians in Oslo expressed their outrage through slogans and placards over the tragic explosion at the Tabas coal mine, which was caused by the regime’s negligence in providing basic safety measures for the miners, leading to the heartbreaking deaths of dozens. They also voiced solidarity with the miners of Tabas.
MEK supporters in Oslo demanded the trial of the mullahs’ regime leaders for crimes against humanity, in an international court.
Iranian community in Oslo emphasized the Iranian people’s desire for a democratic republic and rejection of any kind of dictatorship, whether it be the mullahs’ regime or a return to the Shah’s regime.
In addition, Iranians in Oslo commemorated the memory of over 120 martyrs of the Bloody Friday of Zahedan, who were massacred in 2022 by the repressive forces of the mullah regime in Zahedan after the Friday prayer ceremony at the Makki Mosque in the city.
They demanded recognition of the Resistance and the right of the Iranian people and the MEK Resistance Units inside Iran to defend themselves in their struggle against tyranny and dictatorship.
