Lugano, Switzerland—September 28, 2024: Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held a photo exhibition and book display, protesting the Iranian regime’s rising wave of executions.
Iranian community in Lugano expressed their solidarity with the “No to Execution Tuesdays” campaign in response to the executions taking place in Iran’s regime prisons. They also demanded the immediate release of all political prisoners held by the mullahs’ regime.
MEK supporters in Lugano demanded the trial of the mullahs’ regime leaders for crimes against humanity, in an international court.
Iranians in Lugano, while calling on the people of the world and the international community to support the demands and uprisings of the Iranian people for freedom, called for the overthrow of the religious dictatorship in Iran.
The event, which took place in Lugano, aimed to raise awareness about the human rights situation in Iran and the plight of political prisoners facing death sentences.
Participants displayed banners and distributed information about the current state of affairs in Iran, focusing on the regime’s use of capital punishment against dissidents and MEK supporters.
Swiss citizens visited the exhibition and signed a petition in solidarity with the Iranian nationwide uprising.
