New York—September 17-18, 2024: Protest Rally by MEK Supporters Against the Presence of the Mullahs’ President Pezeshkian at the UNGA

New York—September 17-18, 2023: Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held a protest rally in front of the UN against the mullahs’ regime’s crimes, demanding the UN hold Iran’s regime leaders, including its president, Masoud Pezeshkian, accountable for the 1988 Massacre and a wave of brutal executions in Iran.

Members of the Organization of Iranian American Communities (OIAC) from across the United States have initiated a one-week campaign in New York to protest against Masoud Pezeshkian and his presence at the UNGA.

On September 17, the Organization of Iranian American Communities (OIAC) said: ‘Day #1 of our NYC campaign against the regime of terror in Iran. UN, do not allow a murderer a seat at the table.’

On September 18, OIAC said: ‘Now in NYC: Iranian Americans and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) participate in Day #2 of the @OrgIAC campaign to protest Masoud Pezeshkian’s planned appearance at the UNGA, urging the international community to support the Iranian people’s resistance for regime change.

On September 18, the Iranian American Community of New York said: ‘On the second day of our protest in front of the UN, we are demanding regime change by the Iranian people. The presence of Pezeshkian at the UN, known for enforcing Iran’s repressive policies, including the mandatory hijab, is an insult to Iranian women. Women, Resistance, Freedom.

In addition, supporters of the Iranian Resistance have invited all freedom-loving Iranians to join a large demonstration on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. in front of the UN in New York. The protest aims to condemn the religious and terrorist dictatorship of the mullahs and their illegitimate president, and to call for an end to the policy of appeasement towards this regime. They urge the international community to support the Iranian people, their resistance, and the struggle for the freedom of Iran.
