Aarhus, Denmark—October 28, 2024: Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) organized a rally to show solidarity with the Iranian Revolution. The event honored the memory of those who lost their lives during the widespread protests of Bloody November 2019.
Iranians also expressed their solidarity with the “No to Executions Tuesdays” campaign in response to the executions taking place in Iran’s regime prisons.
MEK supporters in Aarhus called for the trial of the mullahs’ regime leaders in an international court for crimes against humanity. The Iranian community in Aarhus also demanded the closure of Iran’s embassy, citing its role as a center for terror and espionage.
Iranians in Aarhus emphasized the Iranian people’s desire for a democratic republic and their rejection of any form of dictatorship, whether it be the mullahs’ regime or a return to the Shah’s regime.
In addition, they called on the international community to recognize the resistance and the right of the Iranian people and the MEK Resistance Units inside Iran to defend themselves in their struggle against tyranny and dictatorship.
