Copenhagen, Denmark—October 1, 2024: Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) organized a rally in solidarity with the “No to Execution Tuesdays” campaign for the fourth consecutive week, in response to the executions taking place in Iran’s regime prisons.
The Iranian community in Copenhagen protested against the rising wave of executions carried out by the Iranian regime, called for the immediate release of all political prisoners held in the regime’s prisons in Iran, and expressed their solidarity with the Iranian Revolution. MEK supporters in Copenhagen demanded the trial of the mullahs’ regime leaders for crimes against humanity in an international court.
Participants at the rally in Copenhagen, Denmark, called for an end to policy of appeasement towards the Iranian regime and demanded that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) be designated as a terrorist organization.
Freedom-loving Iranians in Copenhagen called for the expulsion of the Iranian regime’s MOIS agents from European soil and demanded the closure of the regime’s embassies.
In addition, Iranians in Copenhagen emphasized the Iranian people’s desire for a democratic republic and rejection of any kind of dictatorship, whether it be the mullahs’ regime or a return to the Shah’s regime.
They demanded recognition of the resistance and the right of the Iranian people and the MEK Resistance Units inside Iran to defend themselves in their struggle against tyranny and dictatorship.
