Iranian Resistance Supporters Demonstrate in Brussels, Calling for EU to Blacklist IRGC and Adopt a Firm Policy on Iran

Brussels Demonstration – October 17, 2024

Brussels, Belgium—October 17, 2024: During the EU summit, supporters of the Iranian Resistance (NCRI and MEK)) organized a large demonstration in front of the EU Council, demanding that Iran’s IRGC be designated as a terrorist organization. They also called for an end to the European Union’s policy of appeasement towards the mullahs’ regime in Iran.

The Iranian Resistance supporters in Brussels urged the international community to support the Iranian Revolution and take a firm stance against the oppressive regime of the mullahs.

Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) in Brussels called for the immediate release of all political prisoners held by the mullahs’ regime in Iran.

MEK supporters in Brussels also demanded that the leaders of the mullahs’ regime be tried for crimes against humanity in an international court.

The Iranian community in Brussels emphasized that the Iranian people are seeking a democratic republic and rejecting any form of dictatorship, whether under the mullahs or a return to the Shah’s regime.

Additionally, they called on the international community to recognize the Iranian Resistance and the right of the MEK Resistance Units inside Iran to defend themselves in their struggle against tyranny and dictatorship.
