Malmö, Sweden—October 26, 2024: Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held a rally protesting the Iranian regime’s surge in executions, urging that the IRGC be designated as a terrorist organization and condemning the crimes of the mullahs’ regime in Iran.

Freedom-loving Iranians in Malmö expressed support for the Iranian Revolution, condemned the recent surge in executions, and demanded the immediate release of all political prisoners held by the regime. MEK supporters also called for the regime’s leaders to face trial in an international court for crimes against humanity.

Iranian community in Malmö emphasized the Iranian people’s desire for a democratic republic and rejection of any kind of dictatorship, whether it be the mullahs’ regime or a return to the Shah’s regime.

They demanded recognition of the Resistance and the right of the Iranian people and the MEK Resistance Units inside Iran to defend themselves in their struggle against tyranny and dictatorship.
