Stockholm, Sweden—October 19, 2024: Supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held a rally in front of the Swedish Parliament, demanding the designation of the IRGC as a terrorist organization.
Freedom-loving Iranians in Stockholm expressed their support for the Iranian Revolution, condemned the wave of executions in Iran, and called for the immediate release of all political prisoners held by the mullahs’ regime. MEK supporters in Stockholm also demanded that the leaders of the regime be tried in an international court for crimes against humanity.
Iranians at the rally in front of the Swedish Parliament demanded the closure of the Iranian regime’s embassy in Stockholm due to the terrorist activities of the mullah regime. They also voiced strong opposition to the policy of appeasement towards the regime.
Iranian community in Stockholm emphasized the Iranian people’s desire for a democratic republic and rejection of any kind of dictatorship, whether it be the mullahs’ regime or a return to the Shah’s regime.
They demanded recognition of the Resistance and the right of the Iranian people and the MEK Resistance Units inside Iran to defend themselves in their struggle against tyranny and dictatorship.
