Stockholm, Sweden—October 26, 2024: Supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) rallied outside the Swedish Parliament, urging the designation of the IRGC as a terrorist organization and condemning the crimes of the mullahs’ regime in Iran.
Freedom-loving Iranians in Stockholm expressed support for the Iranian Revolution, condemned the recent surge in executions, and demanded the immediate release of all political prisoners held by the regime. MEK supporters also called for the regime’s leaders to face trial in an international court for crimes against humanity.
Iranians at the rally in front of the Swedish Parliament demanded the closure of the Iranian regime’s embassy in Stockholm due to the terrorist activities of the mullah regime. They also voiced strong opposition to the policy of appeasement towards the regime.
Iranian community in Stockholm emphasized the Iranian people’s desire for a democratic republic and rejection of any kind of dictatorship, whether it be the mullahs’ regime or a return to the Shah’s regime.
They demanded recognition of the Resistance and the right of the Iranian people and the MEK Resistance Units inside Iran to defend themselves in their struggle against tyranny and dictatorship.
