Zurich Exhibition – September 30, 2024

Zurich, Switzerland—September 30, 2024: Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran(PMOI/MEK) organized an exhibition to protest the rising wave of executions carried out by the Iranian regime. They called for the immediate release of all political prisoners held in the prisons of the mullahs’ regime in Iran and expressed their solidarity with the Iranian Revolution. The exhibition’ organizers also condemned the recent execution sentences handed down in Iran for PMOI supporters.

MEK supporters in Zurich demanded the trial of the mullahs’ regime leaders for crimes against humanity, in an international court.

The event, which took place in Zurich, aimed to raise awareness about the human rights situation in Iran and the plight of political prisoners facing death sentences. Participants displayed banners and distributed information about the current state of affairs in Iran, focusing on the regime’s use of capital punishment against dissidents and MEK supporters.

This exhibition is part of a series of events organized by freedom-loving Iranians and  MEK supporters across Europe to voice opposition to the Iranian regime’s actions and to call for international intervention to halt the executions.

They demanded recognition of the resistance and the right of the Iranian people and the MEK Resistance Units inside Iran to defend themselves in their struggle against tyranny and dictatorship.

They also condemned the brutal repression of Iranian women under the pretext of hijab and supported the resistance of Iranian women against the oppression of the regime with the slogan of women, resistance, freedom.

In addition, Iranians in Zrich commemorated the memory of over 120 martyrs of the Bloody Friday of Zahedan, who were massacred in 2022 by the repressive forces of the mullah regime in Zahedan after the Friday prayer ceremony at the Makki Mosque in the city.

Swiss citizens visited the exhibition and signed a petition in solidarity with the Iranian nationwide uprising.
