Bucharest, Romania—November 2, 2024: MEK Supporters Condemn Iran Regime’s Crimes and Honor PMOI Martyrs

Bucharest, Romania—November 2, 2024

Bucharest, Romania—November 2, 2024: Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) organized an exhibition to commemorate the martyrdom of 24 MEK members killed in a missile attack on Camp Liberty, Iraq, on October 29, 2015.

It is worth mentioning that on October 29, 2015, Iranian regime proxies in Iraq carried out a massive rocket attack on Camp Liberty, where PMOI members were stationed, besieged and without means of defense. The attack resulted in the death of 24 PMOI members and the injury of hundreds of others.

Iranian Resistance supporters in Bucharest expressed their solidarity with the Iranian Revolution. The event also protested the rising wave of executions carried out by the Iranian regime and called for the immediate release of all political prisoners held in the regime’s prisons in Iran.

MEK supporters in Bucharest urged an international court to try the leaders of the mullahs’ regime for crimes against humanity.

Additionally, they called on the international community to recognize the Iranian people’s resistance and the right of MEK Resistance Units inside Iran to defend themselves in their struggle against tyranny and dictatorship.

Romanian citizens visited the exhibition and expressed their solidarity with the nationwide uprising of the people of Iran.
