Copenhagen, Denmark—December 21, 2024: Supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held a rally and exhibition to express solidarity with the Iranian Revolution and to condemn the Iranian regime’s increasing reliance on executions.
The event highlighted the escalating human rights violations in Iran and condemned the death sentences imposed on political prisoners affiliated with the PMOI.
The Iranian community in Copenhagen expressed their support for a democratic republic in Iran, firmly rejecting all forms of dictatorship, including both the mullahs’ regime and any potential return to the Shah’s rule.
In particular, the group urged the shutdown of the mullahs’ embassy in Denmark, advocated for the blacklisting of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), and called for the expulsion of the Iranian regime’s MOIS agents from European soil.
Participants in the rally also condemned the regime’s brutal repression of Iranian women under the guise of enforcing the hijab. Participants expressed support for the resistance of Iranian women against the regime’s oppression, chanting the slogan: “Woman, Resistance, Freedom.”
Additionally, they emphasized the importance of recognizing the Iranian people’s resistance, along with the role of the MEK Resistance Units within Iran, in their fight against tyranny and dictatorship. They asserted the right of the Iranian people to defend themselves in this struggle.
