Paris, France—December 11, 2024: Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) organized a rally and exhibition to protest the Iranian regime’s escalating human rights violations, including the death sentences imposed on six PMOI-affiliated political prisoners. The event condemned the regime’s systematic oppression and expressed solidarity with the ongoing Iranian Revolution.
Participants emphasized the Iranian people’s commitment to establishing a democratic republic and their rejection of any form of dictatorship, whether from the ruling mullahs or a return to the Shah’s regime.
The exhibition featured photographs and books documenting the atrocities of the Iranian regime and the long-standing efforts of the PMOI to promote a democratic, secular Iran. These materials provided attendees with a profound understanding of the sacrifices made by the Iranian people in their struggle for fundamental freedoms.
The exhibition also condemned the regime’s brutal repression of Iranian women under the guise of enforcing the hijab. Participants expressed support for the resistance of Iranian women against the regime’s oppression, chanting the slogan: “Woman, Resistance, Freedom.”
Supporters demanded global recognition of the Iranian resistance and the right of the Iranian people, along with the MEK Resistance Units inside Iran, to defend themselves against tyranny. They called on the international community to hold the regime’s leaders accountable for crimes against humanity and urged the European Union to designate the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization.
The event drew significant interest from French citizens, who expressed solidarity with the Iranian people and their pursuit of freedom and justice.
