Sydney, Australia—December 27, 2024: Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) organized an exhibition to show solidarity with the Iranian Revolution and denounce the regime’s escalating use of executions as a tool of oppression.
The event spotlighted Iran’s worsening human rights abuses and condemned the death sentences imposed on political prisoners linked to the PMOI. MEK supporters in Sydney called for international tribunals to hold the regime’s leaders accountable for crimes against humanity.
Sydney’s Iranian community voiced strong support for a democratic republic in Iran, unequivocally rejecting both the mullahs’ regime and any return to monarchical rule.
The group specifically demanded the closure of the Iranian regime’s embassy in Australia and advocated for designating the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization.
Participants also condemned the regime’s violent repression of Iranian women under the pretense of enforcing hijab laws. They expressed solidarity with Iranian women resisting oppression and chanted: “Woman, Resistance, Freedom.”
The rally emphasized the critical role of the MEK Resistance Units in Iran’s fight against tyranny, underscoring the people’s right to self-defense in their struggle for freedom and democracy.
