Berlin, Germany—January 3, 2025: In snowy weather, supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held a photo exhibition and book display to shed light on human rights violations in Iran. The event focused on the country’s dire human rights situation, with particular attention to the plight of political prisoners facing death sentences.
The organizers emphasized the need for international recognition of the Iranian resistance movement and affirmed the right of the Iranian people, along with the MEK Resistance Units inside Iran, to defend themselves in their ongoing struggle against tyranny and dictatorship.
The Iranian community in Berlin reaffirmed their commitment to a democratic republic in Iran, unequivocally rejecting all forms of dictatorship, including the theocratic rule of the mullahs and any potential return of the Shah’s regime.
Participants called for the closure of the mullahs’ embassy in Germany and urged the designation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization.
