Exhibitions in Sydney and Melbourne by MEK Supporters Condemn Human Rights Violations and Highlight Iran’s Struggle for Freedom

Exhibitions in Sydney and Melbourne by MEK Supporters

Australia – January 23-24, 2025: Supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held exhibitions in Sydney and Melbourne to protest the Iranian regime’s ongoing crimes against its citizens and to express solidarity with the ongoing Iranian Revolution. These events also condemned the regime’s use of death sentences against political prisoners, including those associated with the PMOI.

MEK supporters in Sydney and Melbourne expressed solidarity with the “No to Executions Campaign” campaign.

Melbourne

Participants highlighted the Iranian people’s aspiration for a democratic republic and their rejection of any form of dictatorship, whether from the current mullahs’ regime or a return to the Shah’s rule.

The gatherings emphasized the importance of recognizing the Iranian people’s resistance and their right—alongside the MEK Resistance Units operating within Iran—to defend themselves against oppression and dictatorship.

Sydney

The Iranian communities in Sydney and Melbourne specifically called for the Australian Government to take stronger actions against the Iranian regime. They demanded the designation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization, underscoring the necessity for more robust measures to hold the regime accountable.
