Heidelberg, Germany – January 18, 2025: Supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) organized an exhibition to showcase support for the 29th Free Iran Telethon for @en_simayazadi, which is taking place from January 17-19, 2025. The event also commemorated the anniversary of Massoud Rajavi’s release from the Shah regime’s prisons in 1979, a moment marking the liberation of the last group of political prisoners.
Freedom-loving Iranians expressed their solidarity with the Iranian Revolution and strongly condemned the severe human rights violations in Iran. They particularly highlighted the alarming rise in executions carried out by the mullahs’ regime and called for the immediate release of all political prisoners held in Iranian prisons.
MEK supporters in Heidelberg demanded that the leaders of the mullahs’ regime be tried in an international court for crimes against humanity.
The Iranian community in Heidelberg reiterated the Iranian people’s desire for a democratic republic while rejecting all forms of dictatorship—whether under the mullahs or a return to the Shah’s regime.
Additionally, they urged the international community to recognize the legitimacy of the Iranian people’s resistance and the right of MEK Resistance Units inside Iran to defend themselves in their struggle against tyranny and dictatorship.
