MEK Supporters in Oslo Protest Death Sentences and Demand Free Political Prisoners

Oslo, Norway – January 27, 2025

Norway – January 27, 2025: Despite snowy and freezing weather, supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held a protest rally in Oslo. The protesters condemned the death sentences of political prisoners affiliated with the PMOI, particularly Behrouz Ehsani and Mehdi Hassani, who face imminent execution. Participants also demanded the immediate release of all political prisoners.

Participants expressed solidarity with the Iranian Revolution and urged the Norwegian government to close the Iranian regime’s embassy, labeling it a center of terrorism and espionage.

Demonstrators in Oslo reaffirmed their commitment to establishing a democratic republic, rejecting all forms of dictatorship, whether under the current mullahs’ regime or a return to the the Shah’s rule.

They also called for international recognition of the Iranian people’s resistance and their right—along with the MEK Resistance Units inside Iran—to defend themselves in their struggle against tyranny and dictatorship.
