
Brussels, Belgium – March 17, 2025 – Supporters of the Iranian Resistance (NCRI and MEK) organized a rally in front of the EU Council, demanding the designation of Iran’s IRGC as a terrorist organization. They also called for an end to the European Union’s policy of appeasement toward the mullahs’ regime in Iran.
The demonstrators urged the international community to support the Iranian Revolution and take a firm stance against the oppressive rule of the mullahs. Freedom-loving Iranians in Brussels demanded the immediate release of all political prisoners held by the regime. MEK supporters also called for the prosecution of the regime’s leaders in an international court for crimes against humanity.

The Iranian community in Brussels emphasized that the people of Iran seek to establish a democratic republic, rejecting all forms of dictatorship—whether under the mullahs or a return to the Shah’s rule.
Additionally, in the spirit of Nowruz, the Persian New Year, Iranians in Brussels extended their heartfelt greetings to the people of Iran, celebrating the arrival of the new year. They expressed their hope that 2025 would bring the downfall of the mullahs’ dictatorship and the dawn of freedom in Iran.

Furthermore, they urged the international community to recognize the Iranian Resistance and affirm the right of MEK Resistance Units within Iran to defend themselves in their struggle against tyranny and dictatorship.
