Berlin – April 29, 2025 – Supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held a rally and photo exhibition to denounce the IRGC’s responsibility for the deadly explosion at Bandar Abbas port, which killed dozens and injured more than a thousand. The demonstrators stood in solidarity with the victims and demanded the designation of the IRGC as a terrorist entity by the international community.

Participants also condemned the clerical regime’s renewed wave of executions—carried out even amid the national trauma caused by the Bandar Abbas disaster. They called for the immediate abolition of all death sentences and the unconditional release of political prisoners.

Furthermore, the rally served as a platform to voice support for the Resistance Units inside Iran—MEK-affiliated activists risking their lives to confront the IRGC’s oppressive apparatus. Attendees called on democratic nations to back the struggle of these internal networks for a free and democratic Iran.
