Exhibition in Zurich Condemns Human Rights Violations in Iran and Backs NCRI as a Democratic Alternative

Zurich, Switzerland – March 31, 2025

Zurich, Switzerland – March 31, 2025: An exhibition was organized to condemn human rights violations in Iran, with a particular focus on the brutal repression of political dissent. The event highlighted the alarming use of the death penalty against political prisoners, especially those affiliated with the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK). Supporters of the PMOI exposed the Iranian regime’s systematic persecution and called for an end to executions and the immediate release of imprisoned dissidents.

The organizers reiterated their commitment to establishing a democratic republic in Iran, firmly rejecting both the current theocratic regime and any potential return to monarchy under the Shah. They also expressed their support for the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) as a viable democratic alternative and endorsed the Ten-Point Plan of Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the NCRI, as a roadmap for a free and democratic Iran.

The organizers reiterated their commitment to establishing a democratic republic in Iran, firmly rejecting both the current theocratic regime and any potential return to monarchy under the Shah.

Participants voiced their solidarity with the Iranian Revolution, urging the Swiss government to shut down the Iranian regime’s embassy in Switzerland. They also called for the designation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization.

Additionally, they appealed for international recognition of the Iranian people’s resistance and their right—alongside the MEK Resistance Units inside Iran—to defend themselves against tyranny and dictatorship.
