Berlin, Germany – April 12, 2025 – Freedom-Loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) organized a rally and exhibition to highlight the escalating human rights crisis in Iran, with a particular focus on the alarming rise in executions of political prisoners. The event drew special attention to the recent execution of five political prisoners at Vakilabad Prison in Mashhad.
The rally also shed light on the Iranian regime’s worsening human rights violations, including the issuance of death sentences for political prisoners affiliated with the PMOI. Iranian Resistance supporters in Berlin called for the establishment of an international tribunal to hold the regime’s leaders accountable for crimes against humanity.
Participants expressed strong support for the ongoing Iranian Revolution and reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to a democratic republic in Iran. They firmly rejected all forms of dictatorship—whether represented by the current theocratic regime or a return to monarchical rule.
The rally concluded with a call to the international community to recognize the legitimacy of the Iranian people’s resistance and to support the MEK Resistance Units within Iran in their continued struggle against oppression and tyranny.
